Welcome to Lead4Life. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our services, website, and programmes provided by Lead4Life (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa, with its principal place of business in Cape Town, Western Cape ("Lead4Life", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the client, participant, or authorised representative) and Lead4Life. Acceptance occurs when you:
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organisation, school, or company, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Lead4Life provides experiential learning and leadership development programmes to schools, corporates, community organisations, and individuals across South Africa, including but not limited to:
All programmes are subject to availability and may be modified at our discretion to ensure the safety, quality, and educational integrity of the experience. We reserve the right to substitute facilitators, activities, or venues where necessary, provided the core programme objectives are maintained.
A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a signed service agreement (where applicable) and a non-refundable deposit as specified in your quotation. Lead4Life reserves the right to accept or decline any booking at its discretion.
A deposit of not less than 30% of the total programme fee is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed in writing at the time of quotation.
The outstanding balance is due no later than 14 calendar days prior to the programme commencement date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are subject to change thereafter.
Minimum and maximum participant numbers apply to all programmes. Should participant numbers fall below the minimum agreed number, Lead4Life reserves the right to adjust the programme scope or fee proportionally.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation policy applies:
Requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing at least 21 days before the programme date. Subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee. Only one reschedule per booking is permitted without penalty.
In the rare event we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a full rescheduling at no additional cost, or a full refund where rescheduling is not possible. Our liability is limited to fees already paid.
Neither party is liable for failure or delay resulting from causes beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic, civil unrest, or labour disputes.
You agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions, disabilities, dietary requirements, or other special needs of participants prior to the programme. Lead4Life reserves the right to exclude any participant whose condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.
Where participants are minors, the booking party confirms that appropriate parental/guardian consent and medical authorisation have been obtained, including for adventure-based and outdoor activities carrying an inherent level of physical risk.
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and cooperative manner. Facilitators reserve the right to remove any participant without refund in the event of dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.
All participants must attend and comply with safety briefings and instructions provided by Lead4Life facilitators at all times. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from specific activities or the programme as a whole.
All content, materials, methodologies, frameworks, curriculum, branding, logos, graphics, and programme designs created by or belonging to Lead4Life are the exclusive intellectual property of Lead4Life (Pty) Ltd and are protected under applicable South African and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, adapt, or commercialise any Lead4Life materials, content, or methodologies without prior written consent from Lead4Life. Photographs or recordings taken during programmes that feature Lead4Life branding, facilitators, or proprietary content may not be published publicly without prior written approval.
Any content you provide to Lead4Life (including testimonials, feedback, or photographs of participants) grants Lead4Life a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law:
Participants engage in Lead4Life programmes understanding that adventure and outdoor activities carry an inherent level of physical risk. Lead4Life takes all reasonable precautions to minimise risk and complies with all applicable health and safety regulations.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lead4Life, its directors, employees, facilitators, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape, South Africa.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings. Where applicable, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration as an alternative to litigation.
Lead4Life reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be published on our website with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes that affect existing bookings or agreements, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice via email or written communication.
